Richard A. Twedell Papers 1964-1976

Twedell was Director of Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butcher Workmen of North America, District 5, Dallas, Texas, and also the youngest International Vice-President elected to the Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butcher Workmen of North America’s Executive Board. He succeeded his father, Samuel A. Twedell, as director in July, 1968. The records include correspondence, agreements, legal documents, financial documents, minutes, reports, and printed material. They include personal as well as union papers.
